About This Safari

Uganda from north to south, from the thundering Nile to the silent gorilla forests — this is the country's full story, told across thirteen days and told well. You begin at Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a gap just seven metres wide and launches itself forty metres into the air. You track white rhinos on foot at Ziwa, Uganda's only wild rhino population. You soak in the boiling Sempaya hot springs of Semuliki. You find lions lounging in trees at Ishasha. You come face to face with mountain gorillas in Bwindi. You spend a full day with the Bakiga people. You swim in the high-altitude clarity of Lake Bunyonyi. You walk at dawn through Lake Mburo as zebras materialise from the mist. Thirteen days, seven national parks and sanctuaries, one country that will surprise you every single day.

Your guide meets you at Entebbe International Airport with a warm welcome and transfers you to a comfortable guesthouse just minutes from Lake Victoria's northern shore. Use the evening to settle in, exchange the pressurised air of the plane for Uganda's warm green air, and let your guide walk you through the next thirteen days. The Nile is already flowing a few hundred kilometres to the north. The gorillas are sleeping in Bwindi. The adventure starts tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this safari

On this itinerary, 'camping' refers to staying at established bush camps — comfortable fixed-tent or chalet-style accommodation in remote, wildlife-rich settings rather than large hotels. These camps are well-appointed with proper beds, en-suite or shared bathrooms, and good food. They are not expedition camping. The term reflects the authentic, close-to-nature experience they offer — positioned alongside rivers, inside national parks, and on lake shores that standard lodges don't access.
