About This Safari

Uganda's eastern flank is its most exhilarating — a region of roaring rivers, thundering waterfalls, coffee-scented highland villages, and ancient wildlife spectacles. This eight-day adventure takes you from the source of the world's longest river at Jinja, up to the triple cascades of Sipi Falls for white-water rafting and cliff abseiling, then north to Murchison Falls where the entire Nile forces through a seven-metre gap. Add rare white rhino tracking and a canoe hunt for the prehistoric shoebill stork, and you have a safari unlike any other in East Africa.

Tour Highlights

Stand at the source of the Nile River — the birthplace of the world's longest waterway

Ride world-class Grade 3–5 white-water rapids near Jinja

Abseil down the sheer cliff beside a thundering Sipi waterfall

Hike all three tiers of Sipi Falls through coffee farms and highland villages

Watch the entire Nile squeeze through a 7-metre gap at Murchison Falls

Cruise the Victoria Nile among hippos, crocodiles and elephants at dusk

Track endangered southern white rhinos on foot at Ziwa Sanctuary

Canoe through Mabamba papyrus swamp in search of the rare shoebill stork
